Charles A. (Rock) Alpe

Charles A. (Rock) Alpe was born on March 5, 1947, in Winnsboro, La., to Joe Bernard and Camille Forte Alpe. He died at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville Ark., on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017. At the time he was residing at Springdale Health and Rehab. He retired several years ago as owner/agent of Alpe's One Stop Insurance Agency in Fayetteville. He was also "Jolly Rock" at KMAR Radio in Winnsboro for many years. Funeral arrangements are pending. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 1-800-805-5856, or your favorite charity. Preceding him in death were his parents; son Bobby Cruz; sister-in-law Theresa Alpe; and brother-in-law Buddy Etheridge. He is survived by his wife Marjorie (Kathy); son Juan Cruz and wife Stephania; grandsons Corey Brown and wife Devin, Steven Brown, and JT Cruz; his brothers Joe Frank, James (Butch) and wife Twila; and sister Cheryl and husband Jerry Reeves; as well as a large number of beloved nieces and nephews.
