Della Leona Williams (Lea), 74, a resident of Springdale, Ark., passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, following her battle with cancer. Mrs. Williams was born March 11, 1943 in Springdale. She was the daughter of Dorthy Bohannan Silmon and Charles F. Silmon. She was raised in Springdale and after marrying Bill W. Williams in 1975, they moved to Tennessee. It was there they raised their family and in 1991, returned to Springdale. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill W. Williams; daughter, Sharon R. Croft and her husband, John Croft; son, Michael A. Ramey and his wife, Rhonda Ramey; step-daughter, Melinda Banzhaf; step-son, Bill Wayne Williams; aunts, Betty Wheeler and Zeldene Harbour; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; a host of cousins and close friends. Mrs. Williams was also preceded in death by her step-daughter, Teresa Todd of Rogers, Ark. Mrs. Williams was employed by Lindsey Management for the past 26 years as a community director. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Bill and had many hobbies but her passion was crafting & scrapbooking. Her creativity was always on display around the holidays with her many beautiful hand crafted decorations and gifts. No one loved their family more than "Miss Lea" and she left us with one wish. "Take care of Daddy and each other." Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 at Westfield Chapel and will be officiated by Reverend Bruce McCarty. Interment will follow at Bluff Cemetery.
