LaVada Juanita Stephens Hall, 87, of Lowell passed away Wednesday, November 01, 2017 in Springdale. She was born March 20, 1930 in Winslow, Arkansas to Presley Stephens and Thelma Henson Stephens. She worked for many years as a retail clerk at JC Penneys in Snyder, Texas being the joy of her life. She read the King James Bible 15 times from cover to cover and could recite many scriptures by heart. She enjoyed attending church, singing, fishing, working crossword puzzles, visiting neighbors and helping anyone in need. Snyder, Texas was her home for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Clarence Hall. They married in the state of Washington on October 23, 1949. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Thurlo Stephens, Arlie Verle Stephens, Lindle Stephens, five sisters, Imaletta Jackson, Hazel Kaleiwahea, Emma Jean Huddleston, Dorcas Stephens and Nelda Leeders and great-grandson, Zak Ellis. Survivors include her four children, Lola Baughman and husband Charles of Farmington, Reta Graham and husband Michael of Lowell, C.W. Hall, Jr. of Durham and Kevin Hall and wife Wanda of Bryan, Texas; sister, Edna Dotson of Chehalis, Washington; two brothers, Lonnie Stephens and wife Donna of Springdale and Larry Stephens and wife Norma of Farmington; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday November 3, 2017 at the Jesus Name Pentecostal Church, 802 Old Wire Rd., Springdale. The funeral service will be at 1 PM, Saturday at the church with Bro. Robert Anderson and Bro. Kevin Holloway officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Patrick Cemetery in Madison County.
