Betty Sue Williams

Betty Sue Williams, age 85, of Fayetteville, passed away at home on Jan.28, 2017. She was born June 29, 1931, in Wesley, Ark., to Marion and Zola Laningham Boyd. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Billy Williams. Betty was a member of the Baldwin Church of Christ. She was a 1948 graduate of Fayetteville High School, well-traveled, and a board member of Washington County Farmer's Mutual Insurance Company. She worked for more than fifteen years at the Elizabeth Richardson Center. She was a homemaker and farmer, and well known for her cooking. She was affectionately known as "Mommo." She is survived by her daughters Lisa Colwell of Fayetteville and Gina Ratliff and her husband Jim of Greenbrier; grandchildren Clifton Colwell and wife Lea, Erin Bradford and husband J.P., Kayla Holloway and husband Kent, Kristen Ratliff, and Will Ratliff; great-grandchildren Zola Colwell, Vera Colwell, Price Bradford, Drake Bradford, and coming in April 2017, Hailey Holloway; and some very special cousins. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at Baldwin Church of Christ at 4377 E Huntsville Rd, Fayetteville, Ark. 72701. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Fayetteville. Memorials may be made to Gospel Tracts International at 2129 N Center St, Suite #E, Fayetteville, Ark. 72701.
