Roger Gordon "Blue" Mhoon II

Roger Gordon "Blue" Mhoon II, 41 of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 in Fayetteville. He was born April 1, 1975 in Fayetteville, Ark., to Roger Gordon Mhoon and Marion Sue (Blackston) Mhoon. He was an insurance agent with Farmers Insurance. Blue was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, and he loved fishing and was active in the BFL and Beaver Lake fishing tournaments. He loved to travel and was a huge Chicago Cubs and Arkansas Razorback fan. He is survived by his wife, Amanda, son Eason, mother, Suzie Wright and husband Bill of Fayetteville, Ark., father, Roger Gordon Mhoon and wife Peggy of Nixa, Mo., and sister, Sarah Mhoon of Fayetteville, Ark. A Celebration of Blue's life will be held 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 30 at Central United Methodist Church with Dr. Jack A. Wilson and Dr. Jim Hightower officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. A gathering of friends will follow the committal service from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Elks Lodge.
