Bud Joseph Meador

Bud Joseph Meador, 87, passed away January 18, 2017 with his wife, Dorothie at his side. Bud was born on December 21, 1929 in Vandervoort, Arkansas to Delta Louise (Meyers)) and George Wilson Meador. Bud married Dorothie Ann Brown on June 8, 1949. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Mathematics and was a Statistician at Iowa State University. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and running. Bud is survived by Dorothie, his children, Dean (Sarah), Margaret, Vince (Jenny), Tom, Mary, Kern (Becky), Gary and Eric (Corrie); his grandchildren, Erin, Danielle, Gavin, Justin, Merideth, Timothy, Amy, Amanda, Gabriel, Cristian, Ryan, Alexandria and Avery: his great-grandchildren Katie and Grayson; his siblings Harry, Sybil, Pierre, Parker and Bill. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, G.W., Gerald, Geraldine, Joyce and Patricia. Bud's final resting place will be Daniels Cemetery in Wickes, Arkansas.
