On the final day of 2016, at age 94, Lydia Madeline DiCarlo Hack, passed peacefully surrounded by many in her family. Lydia was the last of the first generation born in America to Anthony and Madeline Fabbrini DiCarlo of Abbidia San Salvatore, Tuscany, Italy. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Rudy Hack. Born with an infectious laugh and delightful sense of humor, Lydia was a truly gracious, humble person whose life and character revolved around devotion to family and faith. Her example instilled traits of honor and optimism in all who came to know her. As a lifelong Jehovah's Witness, it was her strong faith that defined every fiber of her life. She cherished being referred to as Grandma by many in her congregation. She is dearly missed by family members that include her sons, David and Danny and daughter, Gianna and their families, including two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service officiated by Wayne Fisher will be conducted at Kingdom Hall, Bella Vista on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.
