Roy Glen Huneycutt

Roy Glen Huneycutt, age 89, of Little Rock died February 15, 2017. He was born February 23, 1927, in Donaldson, Arkansas to Roy Lee and Oneta Martin Huneycutt. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He married Rita Lowrance in 1947 then graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in agriculture. His professional life, however, was spent in the field of accounting. Roy was an ordained elder at Grace Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. He most recently lived at Memory Care of Little Rock at Good Shepherd where he was the "ambassador." He valued and loved every person he met. He was preceded in death by Rita and their son, Larry Glen Huneycutt. Roy Glen is survived by Debbie Huneycutt Byrd; Cheryl Dawn Huneycutt and Marty Anderson; Jan Huneycutt Lightner; his brother, Louis Huneycutt; his sister, Patsy Daniel; and his sister-in-law, Peggy Garner. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren are Sam and Alicia Byrd, Eli, and Emily; Erin and Shaun Oliver, Ethan, Elliot, and Ezra; Rachel and Matt Silvestri, Evan and Elle; Sara Huneycutt and Scott Johnson, Amis, Baxter Bittle, and Gibson Bittle; Jesse Huneycutt and Isabella; Max Anderson, Cooper and Neal and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Grace Presbyterian Church, 9301 Rodney Parham Rd., Little Rock.
