Cecil Lamar Pearce

Cecil Lamar Pearce, age 68, of Springdale, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. He was born on December 3, 1948, in Warren, Arkansas, to John Cecil and Myrtis Hobgood Pearce. He is preceded in death by his parents. Lamar was a United States Navy veteran having served in Vietnam. He was an avid fisherman, lover of animals, and an involved family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen Pearce of the home; his two daughters, Michelle Pappas and husband Sam of Flagstaff, Arizona, and Monica Ketchum and husband Blake of Fayetteville; his grandson, Ashton Ketchum of Fayetteville; his six sisters, Shirley Beard of Warren, Jean Edwards of Warren, Catherine Armstrong of Warren, Carolyn Pearce of Chidester, Dixie Pearce of Warren, and Verna Crawford of Hermitage; his brother, Johnny Pearce of Warren; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation service held from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UAMS Winthrop P.
