For the next 17 years, he helped agricultural businesses and farmers increase yields of corn and soybeans across eastern Iowa. In 1970, he and Martha established Little Hawk Chemical Company in Cascade, Iowa. For the next 17 years, he, his wife, and their three boys worked to build a small family business that specialized in scientific soil analysis and custom solutions to dramatically increasing crop yields in northeastern Iowa. In 1986 Glen and Martha retired to Bella Vista, Ark. He passionately pursued his hobbies including hunting, fishing, and boating. He was active in V.F.W.
