Gary Lynn Hufford, 63, of Little Flock, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born July 23, 1954, in Bentonville to Georald Hufford and Esther Virl Allmendinger Hufford. He graduated from Bentonville High School in 1972 and was a proud Tiger. He was employed by Glad Manufacturing for 18 years as a maintenance tech, worked as an electrician and the auto parts business in the Benton Co. area. Gary retired from Little Flock Volunteer Fire Dept. after 20 years, and was the second City Marshall in Little Flock in the early 1980's. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing music and played bass guitar. He attended First Landmark Baptist Church in Bentonville. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Johnny Ralph Hufford. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hufford of the home whom he married February 9, 1980; one daughter Morgan Simmons and husband Rick of Rogers; two grandsons, Hayden and Jackson Simmons and one on the way; one brother, Gerald Hufford and wife Pat of Little Flock; two sisters, Brenda Hufford of Bentonville and Karen DuBois of Centerton. Funeral service is set for 10:00a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at First Landmark Baptist Church in Bentonville with Pastor Terry Simmons and Chaplain Jo Jones officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the church.
