Marcelle Pansy Jones

Marcelle Pansy Jones, 87, of Springdale died August 15, 2017 at her sister's home in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born December 22, 1929 at Hindsville, Arkansas the daughter of Joseph Jackson and Mary Elender Vanderpool Cornelison. She was a member of the Ray of Hope Church at Nob Hill and loved her church and church family. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing card games and bingo. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Stephens and Ernest Jones; her parents; three brothers, Curtis Cornelison, Floyd Cornelison and James Cornelison and five sisters, Fern Cornelison, Margaret Ballard, Mary Evans, Nellie Miller and Florence Evans. Survivors include: three brothers and one sister-in-law, Joseph Cornelison of Hindsville, Arkansas, John and Betty Cornelison and Arthur Cornelison all of Springdale, Arkansas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothea and Gearld Tate and Phyllis and Travis Penick all of Rogers, Arkansas; one brother-in-law and wife, Granvil and Donna Evans of Hindsville, Arkansas; three stepchildren; one stepdaughter-in-law, Claudella Jones and many nephews and nieces and special friends, Alice Galloway, Sue Taylor, Marilyn Basset and Les and Twilla Corter. The family wishes to thank her great caregivers, Dorothea Tate, Betty Cornelison, Phyllis Penick, Floyd and Debbie Cornelison and Jeanye Cornelison. THANK YOU DOROTHEA. Funeral 10 a.m. Monday, Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerry Henshaw officiating. Interment will be in the Colbaugh Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home-Huntsville www.brashearsfuneralhome.net. Pallbearers will be: Johnnie Cornelison, Rick Evans, David Cornelison, Steven Cornelison, Doug Tate and Floyd Cornelison. Visitation: 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Brashears with the family present.
