Virginia "Kiki" Fedosky, 87, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, July 30, 2017, at her home. She was born May 11, 1930, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Arthur Wayne and Hilda Braun Eubank.
Kiki received her degree in Physical Education from Indiana University where she was also a cheerleader. Upon graduation, she taught junior high P.E. until starting her own family. Together with her husband, Ed and Kiki owned and operated Wilderness Campsites on Lake Shishebogma in Wisconsin, each summer, from 1961-1967. The family moved to Arkansas in 1967 and in 1975 she and her husband established Swim Ranch. Over the next 40 years, "Ms. Virginia" developed and taught her unique "Waterbabies" classes to hundreds of children in NWA. She was actively involved with the direction of Swim Ranch activities at the time of her death.
Favorite pastimes included playing Scrabble, Bridge on Fridays, RV camping, and riding horses in her younger years. Kiki was a self-taught landscaper and flower gardener, making many improvements around her home and Swim Ranch. She also enjoyed selling ads in the Star Shopper for a number of years. For a number of years, she and Ed volunteered as greeters each Sunday at Fellowship Bible Church in Lowell. Her family is joyful in their sorrow, knowing that she is face to face with Jesus and reunited with her husband.
Kiki was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Edward "Coach" Fedosky, last December, and a brother, David Eubank. She is survived by five children, Edward Fedosky and wife Rebecca of Madison, Wisconsin, Susan Gabbard and husband Ron of Elm Springs, Dr. Scott Fedosky and wife Teresa of Fayetteville, Kim Brinson and husband Mike of Wesley, Dr. Keane Fedosky and wife Amy of Rowlett, Texas; two brothers, Dick Eubank of Florida, Don Eubank of Indiana; 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
