William Edward Guy

William Edward Guy, 73 of Lowell, Ark. passed away, Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Mercy Hospital in Rogers. William was born on June 1, 1943 in Beech Grove, Indiana, a son of William Ernest Guy and Marta Helen Louise Ebbeler Guy. He married Pamela Kay Johnson on March 9, 1978 in Tulsa, Okla., who preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 2015. William worked for AT&T in telecommunications. He was a member of the New Hope Church of the Nazarene, lived in the Mt. Carmel Community, loved music especially playing the piano and being with his family. He is survived by his three children, Denise Braaten and husband Raymond of Yukon, Oklahoma, David Guy and wife Vickie of Moore, Oklahoma and Justin Guy and wife Sarah of Lowell, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Tyler Braaten and wife Tonya of Katy, Texas, Timothy Braaten and wife Nikki of Yukon, Oklahoma, Tori Wright and husband Cody of Yukon, Oklahoma, Ashley Gravitt and husband Jeremiah of Moore, Oklahoma, J.D. Guy of Moore, Oklahoma, Evan Guy, Grace Guy and Madeline Guy all of Lowell, Arkansas, six great grandchildren, Ava Gravitt, Eden Gravitt, Deegan Braaten, Reagan Braaten, Declan Wright and Jensen Wright; and one brother, Tom Guy and wife Diann of Tulsa, Okla. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Funeral service will begin following the visitation at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jeff LeBert officiating. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Bryan Chapel Cemetery near Boatman, Oklahoma.
