Joseph M. Huot, age 78, a lifelong resident of Lowell, Mass. died Sept. 28, 2016 at Lowell General Hosp. following a brief illness. For 53 years he was the beloved husband of Joan E. (Tate) Huot. Joseph was born in Lowell, Sept. 27, 1938, son of the late Eugene Huot and Marie Rose (Ducharme)(Speralda) Huot. Joseph was also brother of the late Raymond Huot. He served in the US Air Force stateside from 1961-1965. Prior to his retirement in 2001, he was the Machine Tech. Teacher at Lowell Regional Vocational Technical School for 18 years. Joseph loved fishing, working in his yard, and his grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Michael & Ada Huot of Nashua, N.H., Brian Huot and his girlfriend Courtney Dutkowski of Stuart, Fla.; a daughter, Denise Huot of St. Augustine, Fla.; a sister, Georgette Malenfant of Kingston, N.H.; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Hout of Idaho; five grandchildren, Christina Sullivan and her husband David of New Boston, N.H.; Katherine Huot of Nashua, N.H., Ru Huot, Kai Huot and Tao Huot all of Florida; two great-grandchildren, William and Haley Sullivan; also many nieces & nephews. Arrangements: Relatives & friends will be received on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the M.R. Laurin & Son Funeral Home, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, Mass. from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. A prayer service to take place in the funeral home to conclude visitation at 1 p.m. Interment will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
