Herman C. Filbeck

Herman C. Filbeck of Springdale, Ark., died Monday in Springdale. He was born September 10, 1946 in Berryville, Ark., the son of Ernest Filbeck and Vinnie Smith Filbeck. He was self-employed as a painter, and served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include wife, Anita Filbeck of the home; sons, Ron Filbeck of Springdale, Randy Filbeck of Springdale; sister, Nettie Walden of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Ark. 72762. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 30, 2016, at the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be 1 p.m., Friday at National Cemetery in Fayetteville, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
