Helen Louise Jablonski

Helen Louise Jablonski, 91, of Fayetteville, passed away on September 20, 2016 at Fayetteville Health and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Jablonski, Major USAF retired, and a son, Jay Jablonski. Helen was born on February 11, 1925 to Edward and Elizabeth Dujenski in Medina, New York. She married Arthur C. Jablonski of Albion, New York in 1943. Art was in service during WWII and stayed in service after the war. He and Helen raised five children living in post-war England and several states during his career with the Air Force. Along the way, Helen completed studies and became a nurse. The Jablonski family moved to Arkansas from California and settled in Madison County. Helen worked for several years at the Madison County Hospital. Art and Helen moved to Sands Springs, Oklahoma and later moved back to Arkansas and spent their remaining years in Fayetteville. Helen is survived by her children John Jablonski, wife Carolyn Reno, Cathy Breshears, husband Johnny, Susan Christman, husband Alan, and Jan Jablonski; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Keely, Sam and Elaine; and several great-grandchildren. Services will be at the Fayetteville National Cemetery Pavilion at 1 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016. The family would like to express their thanks for all who helped care for Helen's physical and spiritual needs in her later years. If you will be attending, please meet at the funeral home prior to the service. There will be a procession to the cemetery. Cremation arrangements by Beard's Funeral Chapel.
