Joshua Benjamin Wright

Joshua Benjamin Wright, 35, passed away unexpectedly on September 9th, 2016, in Pittsburg, Kan. His parents are Lillian Bosseau of Pittsburg, Kan., and Wyit Wright of Fayetteville, Arks. He spent his early years on their farm in Madison County, Ark. The family moved to Fayetteville, Ark., when Josh was 5. He attended St Joseph Catholic school and then public school at Woodland Junior High and Fayetteville High School. He then attended Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kan. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Demar and Jessie Bosseau of Pittsburg, Kan., and Elinore Wright of Smithfield, R.I. He is survived by his grandfather, Wyit E. Wright, his parents, his aunts and uncles, Linda Minisce (Leo), Kathleen Wright, Kirk Wright (Elizabeth), Don Bosseau (Jeanne) and Jason Bosseau (Elizabeth Winthrop), step siblings Troy Blanchard and Brooke Blanchard and many cousins. Josh's kind disposition and good humor made him a friend of many. He enjoyed music, drawing, writing and the company of friends. He was a volunteer at Pittsburg's Wesley House. His constant companion was his dog, Scruffy, and they shared many good times and long walks together. There will be a private memorial ceremony for the family. The family asks that memorial gifts be made in his name to Wesley House, 411 East 12th Street, Pittsburg, Kan. 66762.
