Frederick John Notz

Frederick John Notz, age 73, of Centerton, died September 12, 2016, at his home. He was born in Chicago, Ill., on January 26, 1943, to the late Charles and Irene (Hill) Notz. Fred was owner of Schaumburg Lock Service in the Chicago area. He was a resident of Northwest Arkansas for almost 20 years, and was a leasing manager for Wal-Mart Stores. Most recently, he enjoyed his favorite job, as a bus driver for Bentonville Schools. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Maureen; son, Brian (Denise) Notz; daughters, Jill (Tony) Bergman, Elizabeth (Daniel) Settle; and six granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Frederick John "Johnny" Notz II. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2016, at Bella Vista Assembly of God officiated by Pastor Jonathan Watson.
