She married Raymond T. Edwards on March 3, 1956. R.T. and Toady made their home in Fayetteville, Ark., for many years until they returned to Prairie Grove. Toady loved both of her hometowns, Prairie Grove and Fayetteville. She spent many years working for the Fayetteville Housing Authority and she served on many boards and preservation committees. She was an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Prairie Grove. Toady's home always had an open invitation waiting and a meal on the stove for anyone who was hungry, especially when there was a Razorback game in town. A memorial service will be held in Prairie Grove at the First Presbyterian Church on Dec. 31, 2016, and interment will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery next to her beloved husband. All memorial gifts can be made to First Presbyterian Church, 208 E Bush Street, Prairie Grove, Ark. 72753 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
