Lee Ray Bosecker

Lee Ray Bosecker, age 76, passed from this life to the next at Golden Living Woodlands in Newburgh, Ind. on October 14, 2016. Lee was born on December 15, 1939 in Mt. Carmel, Ill. to Harold J. and Elizabeth (Stanhope) Bosecker. He married Pat Talley on July 2, 1961 at Lick Prairie Christian Church and they were married for over 55 years. Lee was of the Christian faith and over the years, attended the Lancaster Christian Church and Lick Prairie Christian Church. Lee worked in many diverse fields but spent the majority of his life as a farmer before retiring from Walmart as an internal auditor. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. He loved his wife dearly and his children and grandchildren meant the world to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Kelly Ray Bosecker. Lee is survived by his wife, Pat, three sons: Brent Lee (Leisa) Bosecker, Kevin J. (Jean) Bosecker, and Barry Lee (Cindy) Bosecker, 10 grandchildren: Clifford, Nathaniel, Brittany, Colton, Cory, Sydney, Ainsley, Seth, Zach and Lorelei, two great-grandchildren and one sister, Mary Sue (Sam) Knight. Visitation for Lee Ray Bosecker will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 10 a.m. to noon at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, Ill. Funeral service will be at noon on Tuesday and burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are encouraged to the Alzheimer's Association and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
