Leonard Strebel

Leonard Strebel, 89, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away November 14, 2016. He was born January 23, 1927 in Emporia, Kansas to Frank and Agnes (Dolochek) Strebel. Leonard was a loving, caring husband, father, and grandfather with a sense of humor who loved to make people laugh. His firm belief in the bible's promise of a future resurrection and a paradise earth sustained him through difficult times throughout his life (Psalms 37:10-11, 29, Acts 24:15, Isaiah 26:19) and gives his family and friends joy knowing they will be able to welcome him back with loving arms. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Agnes; four brothers, Gilbert, Maurice, Kenneth, and Glen; and one sister, Georgine. He is survived by his wife, Sue Strebel; two brothers, Marvin and Elvyn; daughter, Leona Shoemaker; stepchildren, Linda Murphy and Jerry Wayne Brigham; 12 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Rance, Jordan, Marlea, Shem, Michael, Andrea, Kory, Brian, Charlotte, Donnie, Christie, and Carrie; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, friends and loved ones.
