JOSEPH LEE MURCHISON, 50, of Little Rock, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016. Lee was born June 28, 1966 in Little Rock, Ark. He earned in BA in business at the University of Arkansas where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He worked 25 years in the mortgage industry and was a current farmer. Lee loved his English bulldogs, Mister Farris, Walter, Otis and Dudley. Lee was also a member of the Argenta City Club, Dover Hunting Club and a member of the Church of Christ. Lee loved farming and fast cars. He also loved to hunt and fish, was a great conversationalist and a gourmet cook. Lee was proceeded in death by his grandparents: Farris and Reba Emerson and Thomas and Florence Murchison, Sr. Lee is survived by his wife: Alyssa Fallen Murchison, parents: Marilyn and F.H. Lyons of Little Rock, Ark., Thomas O. and Rita Murchison of Coy, Ark.: three sisters; Dawn Tomescko (John) of Bentonville, Ark., Leslie Lyons Stecks of Rogers, Ark. and Kim (Dennis) Lovelace of Toltec, Ark., four brothers: Thomas O. (Catherine) Murchison III of Cabot, Ark., Tracy (Jennifer) Lyons of Sherrill, Ark., Jody (Tanya) Lyons of North Little Rock, Ark., and Russell (Jane) Martin of Oakland, Calif., along with several nieces, nephew, cousins and extended families. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 at Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939 with visitation beginning one hour prior to services at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery England, Ark.
