James Carter, 87, died March 27. Visitation is at 12 noon followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. both on Thursday, March 31 at Holt Memorial Chapel in Harrison. Survivors include son and his wife, Rick and Barbara Carter; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one brother; and two sisters.
