Theresa Marie Mugley Seely

Theresa Marie Mugley Seely, age 70, of Winslow, went to be with our Lord & Savior on Friday, March 25, 2016. She was born April 26, 1945 in Fayetteville. She was the biological daughter of William D. and Cornelia Mugley. Her adoptive parents were John D. and Mable M. Mugley of Winslow, who meant the world to her. She was preceded in death by her parents and adoptive parents. Theresa worked for Bear Brand Hosiery for 14 years. She also worked for First National Bank on the square in Fayetteville for nine years. She worked for 13 years where she served as Winslow City Recorder, treasurer and also alderman for several years.She was the first to collect water bills for the City of Winslow; also served as acting Mayor. Theresa was also employed by the United States Postal Service as relief Postmaster for nine years. She lived in Winslow all her life and was proud to call this little town her home and did what she could for the town as long as she was able. Theresa is survived by her husband of 55 years, James H. Seely of the home; three daughters, Maxine Reed and husband Raymond of Brentwood, Arkansas, Tracy Wilson and husband Brian of Bethel Heights, Arkansas and Kelly Raborn and husband Willie of Mountainburg, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Amanda Boyd and husband Eddie of Prairie Grove, Regina Reed of West Fork, Justin Eursery and wife Kelsey of Springdale, Krysta Eursery and wife Ashlee of Bethel Heights and William Raborn and wife CieRa of Mountainburg, Kelsey Raborn of Mountainburg; one step-granddaughter, Janae Wilson; five great-grandchildren, Jayden Eursery, Isabelle Eursery, Abigail Eursery, Ethan Eursery and Zella Boyd; a sister, Mary Canfield and husband Don of Brentwood, Arkansas; a half-sister, Carolyn Brooks of Van Buren, Arkansas and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Winslow, followed by burial at Parks Cemetery in Winslow, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
