Elizabeth Ann Thibodeaux

Elizabeth Ann Peyton Thibodeaux, age 65, of Bentonville, Ark., formally of Lake Charles, La. died peacefully in her sleep on March 24, 2016, at the Circle of Life Hospice center in Bentonville. Born December 1, 1950 in Winchester, Ky., she is predeceased by her parents, Vernon and Evelyn (Clayton) Peyton of Cannel City, Kentucky. Elizabeth, known as "Liz" by her family and friends, was a devout Christian servant, devoted wife, mother, and Nana, a dear friend to many and a favorite among her co-workers. She was a stay at home mom and homemaker for 16 years before beginning her professional career as an employee of Humana Hospital in Lake Charles then working with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. where she was employed for 27 years. Survivors include her best friend and husband of 48 years, Gary Thibodeaux of Bentonville, Ark.; her children, Laura Thibodeaux Ashlock and Rodney of Abilene, Texas; Scott Thibodeaux and Mavenee of Kingwood, Texas; Lance Thibodeaux and Amanda of Bentonville, Ark.; her grandchildren: Nathan and Bonnie Ashlock; Sophie and Graham Thibodeaux; and Peyton and Myra Thibodeaux; Her brother, David Peyton and Sue of West Liberty, Ky. as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 27, 2016 from 5 until 7 p.m. in Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville. Her funeral service will be on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 10am in Bentonville Church of Christ with burial to follow at 12 in Fayetteville National Cemetery.
