Willa Dean Wiese

Willa Dean Wiese, 84, of Windsor, Missouri, died Monday, March 21, 2016, at the Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg, Mo. She was born October 11, 1931, in Logan County, near Boonville, Arkansas, the daughter of Vester Bangs and Bonda (McNerlin) Bangs. On June 23, 1952, in Boonville, Ark., she married Ernest Ivan Wiese, and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2011. Mrs. Wiese was a homemaker and also had worked as a certified nursing assistant at several nursing homes in the North Kansas City area. She enjoyed reading. Survivors include two sons, Donald Wiese (Tammy), Windsor, Mo.; and Gary I. Wiese (Sherry), Smithville, Mo.; five grandsons, Rick Wiese, Gary D. Wiese, Matt Wiese, Stephen Wiese, and Bradley Wiese; five great-grandchildren, Cooper and Blake Wiese, Allyson and Jenkin Wiese, and Roman Wiese; two sisters-in-law, Terri Bangs, Fort Worth, Texas, and Lillian Bangs, Boonville, Ark.; five nephews; two nieces; and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence Bangs, Raymond Bangs, and Edward Bangs; and two sisters, Ruth Taylor and Vivion Bangs. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Private family burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery at a future date.
