Richard Charles Dunn

Richard Charles Dunn, 68, of Rogers, passed away March 20, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 14, 1948 in Clinton, Oklahoma to the late Robert Richard Dunn and the late Clara Marie Hoelker Dunn. He was an active follower of his faith in God and earned an Associates Degree in Biblical Wisdom. He was very kind, loving, generous, and loved to laugh. He was an exceptional carpenter working for H.W.R. Construction for 40 years. Building churches in several surrounding states. He enjoyed playing his fiddle and spending time with his family. Survivors include his daughter, Alicia Dawson and husband Sean, his son, Christopher Dunn and wife Brittany; two granddaughters, Shelbi and Addison Dawson; three sisters, Sharron Stanton and husband Stewart, Mary Ann Akers and husband Marty, Patricia Stocker and husband Rick, all of Rogers; one brother, Ronnie Dunn of Garfield; and many nieces, nephews, and family. He was met in heaven by his parents, his brother, Robert Dunn and his sister-in-law, Vickie Dunn. In lieu of flowers & in honor of Richard's generosity take the time to "Pay it Forward" by helping someone or taking them to lunch. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 25th at 1 p.m. at Faith Builders Family Church in Rogers. His ashes will be placed at St. Stevens Columbarium in Bentonville.
