Dorothy Jean Haines

Dorothy Jean Haines, 93, of Springdale died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the home of her caregiver, Glee Hale. She was born October 27, 1922 in Woodward, OK. to John and Edith Kale Bayless. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Haines; two brothers, Harold and Georgie Bayless; and one sister, Opal Steele. Dorothy was a charter member of University Baptist Church and ran the "Second Season" for 25 years. She was also a member of West Fork First Baptist Church. She was a hard-working, loving, caring mother and grandmother. A special thanks to Glee Hale for her excellent care of Dorothy. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Haines and wife, Martha of West Fork and Don Haines and wife, Phyllis of Lake Charles, La.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Beard's Chapel with Heath Clower officiating. Interment will follow in Baptist Ford Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
