Patsy Young

Patsy Young, 80, of Elkins died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at her home. She was born July 31, 1935 in Obion County, Tenn. to Roy and Pauline Sipes Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Judy Thaller and one great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Young. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Young of the home; a son, Timothy Young and wife, Rebbecca of Lincoln, Neb.; a daughter, Angela Young and husband, Kai Dunton of Elkins; a sister, Shirley Webber of Tennessee.; brother-in-law, Russell Young and wife, Margie of Springdale; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 at Beard’s Chapel with Reverend Jim Huffman officiating. Interment will follow in White Oak Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
