Boyd Ray Hurtt, 79, of Sulfur Springs, Arkansas died Monday, March 14, 2016 in Bentonville, Ark. He was born November 23, 1936 in Mammoth Springs, Ark. to Roy and Grace McHenry Hurtt. He worked with Cooper Communities for many years, and later was a truck driver for Tyson where he would retire. His passion was his horses and meeting at the coffee shop with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Janice Hurtt; one daughter, Jana Lierly; one granddaughter, Jodi Hurtt; one brother, Eugiene Hurtt; and two sisters, Retha Frizzell and Lorine Young. Boyd is survived by one son, Joey Hurtt of Sulphur Springs; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Earl Hurtt; and one sister, Freda Caldwell of Thayer, Ark. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2016 at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
