Grant Thomas Evans

Grant Thomas Evans, 52 year old resident of Rogers, Ark., died March 10, 2016 at Circle of Life Legacy Village, Bentonville, Ark. Born Oct. 29, 1963 in Wichita Falls, Texas, he was the son of Tom Evans and Sally McKinney Hensley. Grant was a Navy Veteran and was a plank owner of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, for being one of the original crew members for the ship. He worked for Consumer Testing Labs for 22 years and spent three years working for them in Hong Kong. Grant attended Watts Methodist Church and Lightning Ridge Church in Watts, Okla. for many years. He loved riding motorcycles with his friends and going camping with his sons. He is survived by his sons, Sean Evans and Jacob Evans of Lowell, Ark.; his fiancée, Renee Bough of Rogers, Ark.; his mother, Sally McKinney Hensley of Siloam Springs, Ark.; his father, Tom Evans of Tujunga, Calif.; two brothers, Jeffrey Evans and husband Fredd of Tulsa, Okla., and Brett Brevoort and wife Kristen of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Nicole Giordano and husband Nelson of Cincinnati; and numerous nieces and nephews.
