Mary Elizabeth Hudgens

Mary Elizabeth Hudgens, age 88, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Fayetteville. She was born September 6, 1927 in Fayetteville, the daughter of Charles M. and Golda Souder Thorp. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hudgens and two brothers, John Thorp and Charles Thorp. She was a retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center. She is survived by a nephew, Philip Thorp of Renton, Washington and a niece, Lisa Holm of Sammamish, Washington. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Moore's Chapel, followed by burial in Farmington Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
