Effie Lorine Parrish

Effie Lorine Parrish, age 82, of Bentonville, went home to be with Jesus on March 3, 2016. Lorine was born on Aug. 29, 1933 to John Gabbard and Bertha Daniel Gabbard in Hindsville, Ark. She was the youngest of four brothers and eight sisters. Lorine was a member of Rogers Freewill Baptist Church. She led a weekly bible study at her home. She is survived by two children: one son, Jack Bradley and wife, Pat of Rogers, Ark. and one daughter, Shirley Hare and husband, Steve of Panama City, Fla. Lorine was blessed with four grandchildren: Lori Davies of Springdale, Ark., Jeremy Burks of Bentonville, Ark., Sarah Roberts of Mansfield, Texas, and Megan Bradley of Rogers, Ark.; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She spent her life caring for others. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and spending time outdoors. Funeral services are scheduled for March 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. with viewing prior to service from 1-2 p.m. at Rogers Freewill Baptist Church; Rev. Eddie Davis officiating. Pall bearers: Larry McGlocklin, Shawn McGlocklin, Randy Harvey, John Desadier, Issac Holder and Frank Edens. Interment will follow at Benton County Memorial Park. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home at 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, Ark.
