Nicholas Alejandro Cruz Sr.

Nicholas Alejandro Cruz Sr. was born on October 12, 1954 in Espanola, New Mexico. He was the son of Daniel Cruz and Geraldine (Pinion) Cruz. He served two years in the United States Navy. He had also been a restaurant owner and operator and most recently, he was a leader and speaker at life skills development and relational skills seminars. Nicholas had lived in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Branson and most recently moved to Fayetteville. He loved fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his grandkids. He entered into rest on Saturday, January 2 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was 61 years old. Nicholas was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Darrel and Stephen Cruz and one daughter, Lori Ann Cruz. He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Cruz of Sandy, Utah; five children, Dominic (Marissa) Cruz of Asheville, N.C., Nick (Erin) Cruz of Kimberling City, Heather Davis of Texas, Kara (John) Worthy of Kissee Mills and Kami (Dustin) Ballard of Branson; one brother, Timmi Cruz of Georgia; four sisters, Cynthia Woodward of Provo, Utah, Melissa Cruz of Seattle, Wash., Liz Cruz of Salt Lake City, Utah and Amy (Toby) Mautz of Austin, Texas; and 11 grandchildren. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
