Robert E. Potts

Robert E. Potts, 73, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 20, 1942 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, a son of Euel S. Potts and Virginia (Morton) Potts. He graduated from Springdale High School and then the University of Arkansas. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was an avid runner. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Patricia Windham and Carol Donahue. Robert is survived by his son, Dimitri R. Potts of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Dennis L. Potts and wife Loretta of Springdale, Arkansas; one sister, Linda Rose and husband James of Texas; 11 nieces and nephews; 18 grandnieces and nephews; and dear friend and mother of his son, Angela Bronkhorst. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. that day.
