Alice May Martin, 74, of Centerton, passed away April 26, 2016 in Bentonville. She was born July 1, 1941 in Carterville Missouri to Carl Michel Sr. and Mary Blunt Michel. Alice was a homemaker and a caregiver. She was a lifelong member of The Salvation Army. She was a proud Senior Soldier and member of the corps. Family and church always came first to Alice. She enjoyed spreading God's word to everyone she met, singing, playing the tambourine, harmonica and taking road trips. She is preceded her in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband Robert of the home; children, Bob and Diana Martin of Bella Vista; Suze and Harry Tapp of Rogers; Michelle Martin-Peterman of Waynoka, Oklahoma; Marietta Nevel and Michael Thomas of Huntsville and Amy Martin and Donna Johnson of the home; sisters, Eleanor Sanchez and Laura Mort; 12 grandchildren: Alicia, Travis, Natalie, Austin, Carson, Lane, Joshua, Olivia, Zoe, Harper, Rebecca, and Andrea, and six great-grandchildren: Braydon, Haydyn, Keilay, Cameron, Daisy and Phoenix May. Funeral services 5 p.m. Sunday; May 1, 2016 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers, with Lt. Curtis Sadler officiating. Visitation 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
