Billie "Red" Wess Keene, 81 of Seligman died September 15, 2015 at his home. He was born November 10, 1933 in Pea Ridge to Willis Wesley Keene and Hettie Leora Johnson Keene. He was raised in the area before moving to Ulysses, Kansas where he met and married his wife Leona Louise Stewart on December 28, 1975. They then moved back to the area in 1977 to make their home. "Red" was known as the "Kiss Man" giving Hershey Kisses to everyone from the East to the West Coast. He loved marbles, fishing, music and was a hard worker. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, would help anyone who needed a hand and was a member of the Twin Springs Church of the Nazarene in Powell, Mo. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Connie Ellis and Kathryn (her husband James Ellis and their son Rod Ellis); a granddaughter, Alicia Keene and four great-grandchildren. Survivors are his wife Leona Louise Keene of the home; three daughters, Debra Luder (Kim) of Sparta, Missouri, Kathy Russell (Robert) of Ulysses, Kansas and Virginia Mustain (Allen) of Jane, Missouri; seven sons; Wesley Keene (Kathy) of Cassville, Mo., Bud Keene (Tammy) of Wichita, Kansas, Donald Brace (Tanya) of Seligman, Mo., Norman Keene (Elizabeth) of Seligman, Mo., William Keene (Laura) of Bella Vista, Curtis Keene (Tamie) of Mascoutah, Illinois, Monte Keene (Lawanda) of Pea Ridge; a brother, Willis Keene (Margaret) of Pea Ridge; 35 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Service is set for 2 p.m.P.M. Saturday, September 19 at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery.
