McKinley "Mack" Samuels

McKinley "Mack" Samuels, 89, of Farmington, Ark., died Nov. 23, 2015 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born Nov. 17, 1926 at Red Star, Ark., the son of Ad and Ester Ward Samuels. He was a retired plumber and a veteran of World War Two, serving in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by two sons, Mike Samuels and Darrel Samuels; two grandsons, Matthew Samuels and Jonathan Samuels; three brothers, Melbern Samuels, Vernon Samuels and Bernard Samuels; and four sisters, Opal Kelly, Mildred Maxwell, Gladys Carson and Irene Reid. Survivors include: his wife of 67 years, Elsie Eubanks Samuels of the home whom he married on Feb. 7, 1948; one son and three daughters-in-law, Greg and Kay Samuels, Ruby Samuels and Glenda Samuels all of Farmington, Ark.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn and Donna Samuels of Goshen, Ark. and Roger and Geraldine Samuels of Elkins, Ark.; one sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Lynville Eaton of Elkins, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Kaci (Johnny) Smith, Dustin (Kasha) Samuels, Eric (Leslie) Samuels, Brandi (Scott Murphy) Samuels, Adam (Susan) Samuels, Malachi (Misty) Samuels and Allison (Matt) Bell; five great-grandchildren, Garrick Crews, Maren Samuels, Asa Samuels, Kenzie Samuels, Ashley Bell and Hannah Bell and another one to arrive in April. In addition, four great-grandstepchildren, Alyssa Crews and Clint Crews and Hailey Smith and Lauren Smith. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend Lynville Eaton officiating. Private interment will be in the Drakes Creek Cemetery with arrangements by Brashears Funeral Home-Huntsville, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net.
