Larry Carlos Garriott, 64, of Fayetteville died November 22, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born April 1, 1951 in Fayetteville to Carlos Garriott and Bonnie Hoskins. He was self-employed. Larry was a coach for Special Olympics and was active with Toys For Tots. He was a member of Jenks Quarterback Club where he assisted in building their football field. Kids were very important to Larry. He was an avid hunter and Razorback fan and loved the Lord. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Garriott; brother, Orville Lee Capwell Jr.; step-mother, Florence Garriott; and step-father, O.L. Dutch Capwell. He is survived by two sons, James Carlos Garriott and Michael Jason Garriott, both of Fayetteville; his mother, Bonnie Capwell-Brooks; step-father,William Brooks; one brother, Rocky Garriott of Fayetteville; three sisters, Lisa Capwell of Springdale, Jeanne Collins and husband, Ronnie of Springdale and Carma McAleer and husband, Michael of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; the love of his life, Jan DuVall of Springdale; his nieces and nephews Hillary Capwell, Bonninda Bratton, Michael Trammell, Ollie Trammell, Tessa Ward, Kesha Walker, Natasha Henslee, Katherine Garriott, Matthew Garriott, Anna Lewis and Cora Lewis. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Beard's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Dixon officiating. Cremation arrangements by Beard's Funeral Chapel.
