Orbedean "Dean" Horton, age 83, of Lowell, went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2015 at Windcrest Health and Rehab in Springdale. He was born February 28, 1932, in Egypt, Arkansas, the son of M.C. and Dona Collins Horton. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 61 years, Jenny Horton, his brothers, M.C., Carthal, and Bobby Horton; sisters, Ruby Johnson, Cletus Jolly, Susie Gibson and Helen Horton, and a granddaughter, Stephanie Horton. After graduating from Cash High School as Class Vice-President, he joined the United States Air Force where his favorite job was being a hurricane hunter. He was honorable discharged after serving 6 years. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather and PaPa to everyone. He loved singing, writing and playing music, being outdoors and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. Mr. Horton is survived by one daughter, Angela Adams and her husband, Jason, of Lowell; four sons, Don Horton, Jake Horton, Jessey Horton and his girlfriend, Jodi Ingram, all of Lowell and Larry Horton and his wife, Martha, of Summers; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Reggie James officiating. No visitation is scheduled.
