Samuel Gladson

Samuel A. Gladson, age 78, of Fayetteville, Ark. passed away Saturday Nov. 21, 2015. He was born Jan. 15, 1937 in Tarboro, N.C. to Thomas and Mildred Bridgers Gladson. He retired from the U.S. Navy and Civil Service. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Teresa Summerlin. He is survived by his wife Barbara Gladson; three daughters, Vivian Dacal-Teijeiro of Salem, Va.; Jamie Gladson of West Fork, Ark.; Carolyn Townsend of DeQueen, Ark.; five grandchildren, Chris Summerlin, Thomas Summerlin, Cody Gladson, Makenzie Townsend, Hunter Townsend and one great-grandchild, Arwen Summerlin. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 24, 2015 at Moore's Chapel with burial to be in Edgecomb Memorial Park in Tarboro, N.C. at a later time.
