Michael Clinton Davis

On Wednesday, November 11, 2015 life lost a good coach, a great man and an even better Dad. Michael Clinton Davis, 53, was born December 25, 1961 in Siloam Springs, Ark. to Clinton and Beverly Davis. On December 29, 1984 Mike married his beautiful love Renee Anne Clemm with whom he had his two children. Mike lived a beautiful life; his passions were his family, Pittsburgh Steelers football, golfing with friends and his animals. Mike loved and was loved in equal measure. "A coach is someone who tells you what you don't want to hear, who has you see what you don't want to see, so you can be who you have always known you could be." Tom Landry. Mike Davis was a coach. Talk to any of his players and they will tell you of a passionate man who loved to win. Talk to any of their parents and he was probably loud and brash, but most winners are. Mike was also a son, a brother, a husband, a salesman, a painter and a music enthusiast but his favorite title was Dad. Mike's two sons, Shawn and Tyler, are his masterpieces and his eternal Joy. Mike is survived by his parents, Clinton and Beverly Davis, his two children, Shawn and Tyler Davis, his ex wife Renee Clemm Sasnett, his brother Marc and wife Ann Davis of Springdale, Ark., his sister Keli and husband Marvin Guess of Denver, Colo., his sister Keri and husband Ronald Coleman of Rogers, Ark., his niece AJ and nephew Cameron Jensen of Colorado, his niece Erin Daughhetee of Missouri, niece La'Rae Shirley and nephews Chris Shirley, Austin Freeman, Blake Davis and Nathan Ratzlaff of Arkansas as well as two great-nieces and two great-nephews. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W.Walnut, Rogers.
