James David Grotts, 59, of Garfield, died Sunday, November 8, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. He was born February 3, 1956, at Springdale to Berton Grotts and Mary Darlene Hayes Grotts. He was self-employed in home construction for many years and drove a school bus for Rogers School System for five years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of Pea Ridge First Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kristi Grotts; and a brother, John Daniel Grotts. Survivors are his wife Carol Grotts of the home; two sons, Jerome Grotts and wife Vickie of Rogers, and Zech Grotts and wife Andrea of Lowell; two brothers, Rodney Grotts of Hiwasse, Tom Grotts and wife Patty Sue of Gravette; one sister, Laverne Landeverde of Hiwasse; six grandchildren, Jackson Dexter Grotts of Rogers, Ella Grotts of Lowelll, Alex Grotts of Lowell, Morris Ward of Centerton, Ciera Chancellor of Killeen, Texas, and Desirae Adams of Rogers; four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Ward and Brielle Ward, and Taylor Chancellor and Hayden Chancellor.
