Mason Bondurant

Mason E. Bondurant, 91, died on November 9, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, four children, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. His life was dedicated to serving others and telling the gospel of Christ. He was pastor at Trinity Baptist in Fort Smith, First Baptist in Dumas, and First Baptist in Jacksonville. He and Margaret applied to serve in the Foreign SBC Mission Field. They served in Quito, Ecuador; Maracaibo and Caracas, Venezuela; and Senegal, West Africa. After those years, he returned to Arkansas and was interim pastor for many churches in central Arkansas. The last one was a mission of Immanuel Baptist. He retired at 85. Mason was awarded The Bronze Star for his service in Korea. He was a Lt. Colonel when he retired from the Army reserves.
