Carla Frutiger

Our mother, daughter, sister, and friend Carla Frutiger left us December 25, 2015. Carla was born February 26, 1962 and defied medical odds for over fifty years. Carla was a nurse's assistant at Northwest Medical Center and was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer two years ago. Our strong, brave girl fought to remain with us and is the bravest person we know. Her unfailing love for her children was her source of strength. She created an environment of love and stability for Blake, 17, and Katelyn, 15. Carla has left a hole in our hearts that we will always carry with us. Please join us to celebrate her life. Her children, along with her parents, three sisters, and two brothers welcome you to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fayetteville for the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 31. The Mass will be preceded by a rosary at 10:30 a.m. and followed by a reception. Following the reception we will leave for the interment at 1 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Regional Cancer Support House 1101 North Wooley Ave. Fayetteville, Ark. 72703.
