Cecil Woods

Cecil Woods, 93, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, December 22, after a brief illness. Cecil was born at home on March 28, l922 in Bunyard, Arkansas the youngest child of Arthur and Mary Oma Woods. He was a farmer and self-employed carpenter. Mr. Woods was preceeded in death by his parents; his wife of 55 years, Mary Woods; a brother, Emory Woods, and five sisters; Retha Hanna, Eva Keck, Vada Combs, Leona Coleman and Bessie Morris. He is survived by two step-children, Francis Hayes Bercher and husband Tom of Wisconsin; Chester Hayes and wife Jan of West Fork; five step-grandchildren, Brian Cecil Josef Bercher of Rhode Island, Laura Hayes Sarah Hayes and Katherine Fedder; two great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
