Pamela Kay Guy

Pamela Kay Guy, 64, of Lowell, Ark., passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at her residence. She was born on October 6, 1951 in Tulsa, Okla., a daughter of Fred Johnson and Marie (Jones) Johnson. Pamela worked for J.B. Hunt Transport as Director of telecommunications. She was a loving Nana and enjoyed sewing and cooking with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shirley Obidowski. Pamela is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Guy of the home; three children, Denise Braaten and husband Raymond of Yukon, Oklahoma, David Guy and wife Vickie of Moore, Oklahoma and Justin Guy and wife Sarah of Lowell, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Tyler Braaten and wife Tonya of Temple, Texas, Timothy Braaten and wife Nikki of Bethany, Okla., Tori Wright and husband Cody of Yukon, Okla., Ashley Gravitt and husband Jeremiah of Moore, Okla., J.D. Guy of Moore, Okla., Evan Guy, Grace Guy and Madeline Guy all of Lowell, Ark., six great-grandchildren, Ava Gravitt, Eden Gravitt, Deegan Braaten, Reagan Braaten, Declan Wright and Jensen Wright; one sister, Nina Briggs and husband Charles of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and two brothers, Jerry Johnson and wife Barb of Inola, Okla. and Joe Johnson and wife Darlene of Ada, Okla. Visitation will be held at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale, Ark., on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 5 - 7 p.m. The Funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jeff LeBert to officiate the service.
