Bobby Wayne Harger

Bobby Wayne Harger died December 17, 2015, at Willard Walker Hospice Home, Fayetteville. He was born on October 16, 1933, to the late Orval L. and Florence V. (Melinch) Harger, in Quinter, Kansas. On December 20, 1956, he married Rita LaVerne Vankirk, in Chicago, Illinois. She precedes him in death. Bobby served in the US Army, and was stationed in St. Andre, France. He was attached to the 101st Airborne Division. Survivors: Garry (Susie) of Bella Vista, and James (Ferol) of Rogers; two daughters, Julie (David) Skach of Bentonville, and Nancy Bailey of Checotah, Oklahoma; one grandchild, Jordan Havens; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Seth and Rune Havens. Preceding him in death are his parents; brother, Floyd; and sister, Joyce Jamison. Services: 10 a.m., December 21, Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney, Kansas.
