Houston Dean Peal

Houston Dean Peal, age 88, of Fayetteville, died December 15, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born March 8, 1927, in Proctor, Oklahoma, the son of Charlie and Viola Henson Peal. He served in the United States Army from 1950 until 1953. He retired from McClinton Anchor Company. Mr. Peal loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hester Peal, and three sons: Billy, Roger, and Terry Peal. He is survived by one daughter, Shirley Spencer, of Springdale; one daughter-in-law, Ladena Curtis, of Prairie Grove; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Entombment at Fayetteville National Cemetery will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
